The Charlottesville Parks & Rec department tells the Hook that, starting tomorrow, the city will put up a fence around the Smith Pool complex at Buford Middle School on Cherry Avenue, in order to prepare for its imminent demolition. While that’s one less swim option for residents, you can still check out the sports & rec page of the Hook’s “Discover Charlottesville” site for other places where you can get your laps in.
