Afton Mountain Vineyards

Located on a beautiful spread in the foothills of the Blue Ridge, this mom and pop vineyard (owned by Shinko and Tom Corpora, pictured left) makes Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, a "Sweet Afton" dessert wine and (yes, Sideways fans), one of the area's only Pinot Noirs. Given its mountain location, the view ain't bad either. Daily 10am-6pm (except Tues) for most of the year.
